Ebner/Gabelmann 598 L. Dube L 199. Signed, dated and titled. From an edition of 5 copies. On wove paper. 50.7 x 27.9 cm. Sheet: 62,2 x 41,5 cm.

- Of utmost rarity: one of just five known copies. - Self-portrait of the artist obviously with a toothache. - From the last year of the "Brücke". - Other copies of this print are in the National Gallery, Washington, the Staatliche Kunsthalle, Karlsruhe, and the Brücke-Museum Berlin.

In good condition consistent of the age. Margins with pale isolated stains and isolated kinks and handling marks. Edges with a few small splits that were experetly restored, isolated superficial paper losses. Upper half with a horizontal crease. Upper margin withh mounting stripes, slightly visible on recto.
